Provisioning – Overview
Here you’ll find the three core areas related to TVIP provisioning: the structure & logic of the XML configuration, the provisioning server setup, and the practical rollout on the STB. The pages are structured so you can jump in directly, depending on what you need.
Provisioning Scheme
Background and structure of the provisioning configuration: which XML building blocks exist, how they work together, and which parameters are typically adjusted in real-world setups. Ideal if you want to understand the structure and how it works.
Provisioning Server Installation
Technical setup of the provisioning server: web server/NGINX, directory structure (e.g. prov and
prov.mac), permissions, and quick tests. If you want to ensure the STB can reliably fetch the files,
this is the right place to start.
Provisioning Instructions
Practical implementation: which files you need to provide, how to store them correctly, and how provisioning is applied on the TVIP box (e.g. via USB/SD for the 7xx series). This is for the moment when you want to “roll it out now”.
