You need a USB device or an SD card.

On either type of storage medium, you need to create a folder. This folder must be named s7xxa.
(You need to replace 7xx with your box number, for example 710a, 705a, 706a, and so on.)

Inside this folder, you need to place two files: provision_server and tvip_provision.xml.

The file named provision_server can contain a placeholder address for this example, such as localhost.
Important! The only way to edit provisioning later is by using a provisioning server.
USB provisioning should not be used for a larger number of devices.
If you use a provisioning server, you can connect to it using its full URL including http:// or https://.

The file named tvip_provision.xml contains the schema of your provisioning settings.

Once your selected storage medium is prepared, we can begin provisioning the box.
The STB should be in factory default settings.

Insert the prepared storage medium into the STB and start the STB.
During startup, the STB will automatically try to find a provisioning file. If the file is found, the STB will blink red twice on the front panel.

If the file is accepted, the STB will show a rapid color change between red and blue on the front panel. Then disconnect the STB from power and remove the storage medium.
After that, reconnect the STB to power.

The STB will now start normally and you can continue as usual. Your STB will then use the provisioning you created.
